The wind on the island in the lake was blowing so hard that I almost gave up trying to get any photos of the butterflies. There were a lot of monarchs and they would have let me photograph them all day, I'm sure, but the buddleia was heaving to and fro causing me to have a little bit of disorientation as I tried to focus the camera. I shot these in the very brief lulls that occurred.
