Minnie drinking from the faucet in the bath...
We wish she wouldn't do this but she came by it naturally it seems.
She loves the water so much that she runs to this sink when I come home from work and
I turn the water on for a few minutes and let her play in it.
Zephyr, our Birman, at five years (born on the 20th of March), is our oldest cat.
He is a gentle guy and we can do about anything with him and not worry about getting scratched.
We think of him as a big teddy bear.
Minnie is our youngest cat-- nine years old now. She was about five in this picture.
Becky found her online at a nearby animal shelter.
Minnie has a sweet nature and is very playful.
She is always underfoot in the kitchen and we have learned to step around her--
(although, we have stepped on her tail a couple of times).
Minnie loves the water and used to sleep in the bathroom sink.
She is wondering why we woke her up.
Sometimes we let the water trickle from this faucet for a few minutes so that she can play in it.
We hope she never learns how to turn it on herself.
She was still pretty young when I took this picture.
Zephyr smelling the witch hazel that I had cut to photograph.
Zephie had to get in the middle of everything but
... that was OK because he became the subject of the photo.
He would never have posed for me if I had wanted him to.
I took this without flash because he always closes his eyes when I use the flash.
The natural cotton cloth is a Swedish rosepath design that we wove on our counter--balanced loom.
